The Dunlop 209 GPA is a street legal(DOT) motorcycle racing tire. They feature a dual compound for unparalleled grip and Dunlop?s exclusive ?Zero Growth? carcass. These are the tire of choice for amateur racers, trackday rider, or aggressive street riders who want the grip and feel of a race tire. This tire was designed by Dunlop for the AMA Daytona Supersport Series, and this exact tire was used by every 600cc AMA team.
These tires are available in 190/55-17 rear but are specifically designed to fit on 5.5 inch wheels, which means they fit all 600cc and larger sportbikes ?99 and newer. The rear tires are available in two compounds for all ranges of tracks. Soft/Medium for outstanding traction, and Medium/Hard for a little more longevity. The 120/70-17 single compound medium front tire is virtually indestructible providing amazing grip and wear.
